RESERVATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Water’s Edge serves food between 12pm and 9pm Tuesday to Saturday and from 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. We are only able to accommodate so many guests within each half hour period in order to ensure that each guest receives the best level of service from our team. We do ask that once you have secured a reservation at a particular time that you adhere to that time.

If a reservation has been made the table is assigned to your party for 2.5 hours, we rarely have to ask guests to vacate a table however if you like to arrange a longer time, please contact a member of our team who will be happy to arrange it for you.

We would respectfully ask that your entire party is ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Should you arrive after your booking time, we may need to hold your booking back to a later time to ensure the best possible level of service for our guests.

It is essential that we are notified in advance of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the time of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

Tables are allocated on the day by our team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area, we cannot always guarantee this.

Cancellation Policy

The venue’s continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changed or cancellations.

Accordingly, the following applies:

·       We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice.

·       For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking.

·       For Afternoon Teas and groups of 8 or more we require a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person. The deposit will be deducted from your final bill at the time of your booking if all guests are present.

·       The cancellation fee and non-refundable deposit reflects the cost incurred by The Water’s Edge in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.

All bookings where a deposit has been requested and which do not attend without 24 hours notice will also incur a £5 per person fee.
